Healing from sadness, manifestations of joy, the brotherhood of the Aïssawa de Fès is the most reputed brotherhood of therapeutic trances. Founded in the 15th century by the saint Sidi Mohammed Ben Aïssa, this mystical order considers that every human is inhabited by an independent and animal spirit. Through music and dance, the Aïssawa invite everybody to let his inhabitant-spirit manifest itself by letting go of the body.
Under the direction of Hadj Saïd Berrada, musician, singer and dancer emeritus, the nine disciples of Fès deliver a fascinating work where the melodies, strangely passive, are powerful rhythmed. Ecstatic.
