Mixed orchestra composed of twenty musicians from Alger, al-Djazaïriya al-Mossiliya is led by Nacer Eddine Ben Merabet. United for the safeguard and promotion of an Andalusian repertoire, this formation excels. Its music, marked by modal variances and composed of rhythmic cadences does justice brilliantly to the academic rigor. The dense sonorities reelevated from string instruments, associated to the irregular beauty of the rhythms carry the melody of the Prophet’s texts addressing the divine, but also writings from great masters of poetry that sublimate live, romance and melancholy.
